These are special holiday hats.. They're fun during the events, but would be ruined if you could wear them all the time.

I don't understand why they don't. They're awesome, and I would so make my derv wear the horns if only they had decent armor rating.

As it is, they put so much effort into crafting hats that only get used for a few days during festivals. Why not give us good reason to sink our 10g into them?

Really, really, REALLY don't want to see stupid stuff like players running around with pumpkins and snowmen on their heads all year. It's ridiculous.

They're festival hats. I know you had a lot of fun at Halloween, but let it go already. Festivals feel special because they're only around once a year. Same with these hats; they're special because they're only pulled out occasionally.

Well... most Mesmer masks are quite ridiculous, as most paragon armor...

So, being ridiculous or not do not seem like a valid reason.
